Dorothy Prescott was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She enjoyed taking art classes being in art shows and connecting with other artists. The love of art was born in her. As a child making charcoal drawings, creating miniature clay cities and making new things out of old things became her passion.
As the years passed Dorothy relocated to the mountain regions of Oregon where natural beauty comes in great abundance. She became enthused about composing leaves and other earth materials to create images for her art. She believes that leaves are a colorful brilliance woven in contoured shapes and styles.
